The STC-SA Maritime Training Centre was established on 21 October 2011 and is ideally situated in the port of Cape Town.  The Training Centre boasts picturesque views of both Table Bay and Table Mountain.

Our facility was designed specifically to meet the growing demands of the Transport, Logistic and Maritime Industry whilst bridging the current gap in the market, ensuring that standards are maintained and that knowledge migration is imparted to the Sub-Sahara region of Africa.

We are a multipurpose/multi-faceted training and education facility that features an onsite SAMSA approved doctor for medicals and fit for work certificates, conference facilities, workshops, classrooms and simulation laboratories to meet your every requirement.

All learning opportunities presented at the Training Centre conform to international requirements, and are regularly reviewed in order to meet the ever changing demands of the Maritime Industry.

We offer Maritime/Basic Safety Training Learning Opportunities in accordance with the STCW Code, as amended in 2010 and the SAMSA Qualifications Code.  International Learning Opportunities are offered at the Training Centre and are supported by our parent company, STC-International, located in Rotterdam.

STC-SA has ensured that we have access to the most cutting-edge technology to further enhance our services to our clients and customers alike.

We are able to accommodate members from the Military, Commercial, Merchant, Cruise Liner and Offshore Oil and Gas Sectors within the Maritime Industry.
