STC-SA is able to provide a comprehensive medical in the maritime industry. We offer offshore, cruise line, yachting, cargo, anti-piracy, oil riggs and fishing vessels.
We offer the following:
MARITIME – SOUTH AFRICAN MARITIME SAFETY AUTHORITY ACT 5 OF 1998 (SAMSA)
- Initial, renewal and re-employment medical examinations
- Local Samsa medicals
- SAMSA approve certification by an accredited medical practitioner.
- International Samsa medicals and its specific requirements as per project.
- PEME and REME medicals for cruise companies
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH MEDICAL – OHSA (85 OF 1993) AND ALL OTHER RELATED LAWS AND BYLAWS.
- Annexure 3 Fitness certificate for construction, industries, mining, etc. and signed off by an Occupational Medical Practitioner.
- This includes working on heights and confined spaces.
