Further Offshore Emergency Training With Emergency Breathing System (FOET With EBS)

Description

The aim of the FOET (with EBS) is to provide the delegates with the opportunity to practise and demonstrate emergency response skills which are not possible to practise during drills, exercises and emergency training offshore.

In this training you will refresh your skills on the subject’s helicopter safety and escape, basic firefighting and emergency first aid according to OPITO standards.

Objectives:

• Demonstrate, in a simulated environment, that they can use the safety equipment, and follow procedures in preparing for, and during helicopter emergencies – with particular focus on escaping from a helicopter following ditching.
• Demonstrate that they can effectively use basic fire fighting equipment, and practise self-rescue techniques in low visibility situations, to include smoke filled areas.
• Demonstrate that they can perform basic first aid.

Prerequisites:
The FOET with EBS, is open to persons with a valid (in-date) OPITO approved BOSIET or FOET certificate.
