Basic STCW Course

Available at Durban Campus

Before being assigned to any shipboard duties in relation to safety or pollution prevention, seafarers engaged in any capacity on board need basic training in Personal Safety & Social Responsibilities, Personal Survival Techniques, Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting, Elementary First Aid and Security Awareness.

Course Details

Duration: 10 Days

Accreditation & Approval

The training is given in accordance with STCW Convention and Tables A-VI/1-1, A-VI/1-2, A-VI/1-3 and A-VI/1-4 of the STCW Code.
