National African Federated Chamber of Commerce and Industry

STC-SA (Pty) Ltd. is affiliated to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry-Johannesburg (JCCI) which is an independent, non-political organisation dedicated to promoting and protecting the interests of business. As a Chamber member, STC-SA has access to its wide-ranging contacts and information resources. As the largest business organisation in Gauteng, the Chamber represents business interests through on-going interaction with the regional and metropolitan governments, aimed at creating an economic environment conducive to growth and prosperity. MCLI

Maputo Corridor Logistics Initiative

STC-SA (Pty) Ltd. is affiliated to the Maputo Corridor Logistics Initiative (MCLI). It is a non-profit organisation consisting of Infrastructure Investors, Service Providers and Stakeholders from Mozambique, South Africa and Swaziland, who are focussed on the promotion and further development of the Maputo Development Corridor (MDC) as the region's primary logistics transportation route.

MCLI is ideally positioned to advantageously facilitate inclusively between all stakeholders, public and private, across national borders. It aims to co-ordinate the views of Service Providers and Users of the Corridor, engaging primarily the governments of SA, Mozambique and Swaziland by:

  • Removing barriers along the Corridor
  • Informing the market of developments on the Corridor and
  • Marketing the strategic benefits and opportunities of using it

Thereby making the MCLI the first choice for the regions importers and exporters alike.

Since the inception of the Mpumalanga Freight Logistics Forum (MFLF), MCLI has been acting as its Secretariat. It gives its members direct participation in the development and roll-out of the South African National Government Department of Transport's National Freight Logistics Strategy in the Province of Mpumalanga, through the Mpumalanga Provincial Department of Roads and Transport.

SANEC

South African - Netherlands Chamber of Commerce

STC-SA (Pty) Ltd. is affiliated to the South African - Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (SANEC) whose aim it is to foster business relations between South Africa and the Netherlands and thus achieve closer economic ties and better mutual understanding to benefit both countries. It was established in 1992 by its founding members, with the goal to promote the trade and investment between the Netherlands and South Africa. With over 400 members and offices in Johannesburg and Cape Town in South Africa and The Hague, the Netherlands, it offers the following services:

  1. marketing information to Netherlands / South African companies
  2. Business matchmaking, partner searches, arranging trade missions
  3. Market research
  4. One-stop-shop for permits, business plans and relocation
  5. Organising of workshops, seminars and networking functions
